Meet Our Pointe Shoe Fitters

Pointe shoe fittings are our specialty. Our fitters have a combined 28 years of fitting experience and many more years spent dancing and teaching ballet. We fit every individual dancer according to their specific anatomy and needs as a dancer. We strive to find the most comfortable fit possible while properly supporting the mobility and training goals of each dancer. We regularly work with feedback from both dance teachers and physical therapists to ensure that we are supporting all of the dancer's needs!

Our store carries eight brands and over twenty different pointe shoe styles. With a wide range of styles and strengths to choose from, and more options that we can order in as needed, we are equipped to help dancers of all backgrounds and experience find the right shoe

Please call or email us to schedule a fitting appointment. We will accommodate walk in appointments whenever possible, but there may be times when we are fully booked or do not have a fitter available.

*Nikolay Certified Fitter*

Victoria is our Assistant Manager and Pointe Shoe Fitter. Victoria has been dancing since she was 4 years old with ballet as her absolute favorite style. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Ballet from Friends University, Victoria danced with PDX Contemporary Ballet for five years. Although she has hung up her own pointe shoes for now, Victoria loves getting to help dancers find the best possible options for their dancing. Victoria has been fitting pointe shoes at The Leotard since 2018. One of Victoria's fitting strengths is working with hypermobile dancers to best stabilize and support their beautiful range of motion.
